HEIKO.
In minimalist interior design, the concept of "Heiko" (平行) meaning "parallel" or "alignment" emphasizes harmony through clean lines and structured symmetry. Traditionally focused on straight forms, Heiko brings order and calm to a space. However, when curved and organic elements are introduced, Heiko evolves. Rather than disrupting the balance, these softer shapes enhance it by creating contrast, visual flow, and a sense of gentle movement within a minimalist framework.
By aligning both linear and curved elements with intention, a space can achieve clarity and warmth, structure and softness. This modern interpretation of Heiko allows minimalist interiors to feel more dynamic, human, and serene without losing their foundational sense of order.
